Spodumene

A very important source of Lithium Ore commonly found in lithium-bearing granite pegmatites. This mineral became more notorious after the last wave of house appliances and vehicles electrification where Lithium plays a big role as a battery component.

Spodumene (Li₂O, Al₂O₃. 4SiO₂) when used in Ceramic and Glass reduces the melting point due to its high fusibility essential for the so desirable reduction of carbon emissions.
